In Memory of
Evelyn Coker Kleber
(1928 – 2013)
This website is a final salute to Evelyn Kleber, a faithful wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and caring friend. It is a testament to Evelyn's remarkable life, his considerable accomplishments and his unselfish life of service -- service to his family, his country, his church and his community.
To keep the memories of Evelyn alive, is to keep her alive. She remains a part of us. Her physical presence will be missed, but her legacy will live on. We loved her deeply and will cherish her memory.
Enjoy this site. It is a living memorial intended to be a celebration of Evelyn's life. Our goal, over time, is to weave together the many threads that made up the unique tapestry of Evelyn's life. You can help us by sharing special photographs or your own memories and stories about Evelyn and how she may have influenced or been a part of your life.
Thank you for visiting this memorial website. Evelyn's family and friends were her most treasured asset. Although she would be mildly embarassed by a website dedicated to her memory, she would be flattered to know how much she was revered by her family and how highly she was regarded among her friends.
The family requests donations in Evelyn’s memory be made to the Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center in the Department of Neurosciences, at the University of California, San Diego. (See http://adrc.ucsd.edu/giving.html)
